A few new drawings from Kadikoy Gazhane.

This is a new site I'm excited about, called Nakkastepe Gazhane. It's in the middle of a large cemetary on the Asian side of Istanbul. It is partially restored and renovated as a cultural center of some sort, but the construction is incomplete and seems abandoned for the moment.. More infortmation on this site to come.

Another new site, in the city center near Galata Tower. This was a small cement factory that stopped production decades ago, and was reclaimed by a friend I met in Istanbul (German), as an art center/ cafe. Very impromptu but creative and sensitive alterations were made to this simple structure. The government has shut it down, for the time being, but it may reopen under more formal conditions of use.

Not a comment about Muslim women. Just thought they looked like pigeons, eating seeds.
